When it comes to landscaping a new home it is best to do the “rough in” of the lines for an irrigation / sprinkler system while the home is still under construction. It is generally less expensive to do when the home is in the construction phase, rather than after the fact. We run 2” PVC sleeves for the irrigation / sprinkler system and landscape lighting under the driveways and sidewalks before they are installed. Therefore we avoid having to pull up the new driveway or tunneling under the sidewalk.
